St Hilary Group Practice is a friendly
and supportive PMS training and teaching practice in Wallasey, serving a
patient population of just under 6,000.
Education and training are an important
part of practice life. We regularly support GP Registrars and Foundation
Doctors, as well as welcoming third-year medical students from the Universities
of Liverpool and Chester for placements within the practice.
Our clinical team includes GP Partners, a
Salaried GP, Practice Nurses, HCAs and a range of clinicians working with us
through our Primary Care Network, including pharmacists, paramedics and other
additional roles.
We are a proactive member of North Coast
Alliance SDU (Wallasey PCN) and work closely with our PCN colleagues to develop
and deliver services for our local patient population. This collaborative
approach provides access to a wider multidisciplinary team and additional
services.
We use EMIS Web as our clinical system
and PATCHS to support our total triage model.
Our appointment system is designed to
ensure that GP appointment requests are clinically triaged and directed to the
most appropriate clinician or service. Triage is undertaken by a dedicated
triage GP, supported by our reception team.
We are proud of our strong QOF
performance and CQC "Good" rating. We have an experienced and supportive management and
administrative team.
