As a salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in the provision
of primary healthcare services.
Undertake surgery consultations including face-to-face, online
& telephone.
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled
population.
The provision of services commensurate with the primary care
contract.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long-term conditions.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including
referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative
tasks. Maintain accurate clinical
records in conjunction with good practice, policy, and guidance.
Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the
practice workload.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines
and the audit process.

We are a small family friendly practice with 2 partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nursing care assistant and an excellent admin team.

Other Requirements
Essential
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing
- compassionate care.
- Experience with EMIS Web or similar clinical systems is an advantage.
- Membership of a relevant Medical Defence Union.
Qualifications
Essential
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice and entry on the GP Register.
- Confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration, or equivalent.
- Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of using electronic clinical patient records.
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
Desirable
- Understanding of policy developments related to the delivery of primary care services including General Practice, the GMS contract, Clinical Governance, Network Contract DES, and Quality & Outcomes Framework.
