We are looking for a registered Social Worker with excellent safeguarding knowledge, confident decision-making skills and a passion for promoting independence and wellbeing through strengths-based practice.

In this rewarding role, you will help safeguard adults at risk through the delivery of Section 42 enquiries, risk assessments and mental capacity assessments. Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations, you will ensure individuals receive the right support at the right time.

Based at Time Square in Bracknell, our Hospital Team and Front Door Hub provide a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise can have an immediate impact. As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with experienced colleagues and partner agencies to respond to safeguarding concerns, share information effectively and make timely, evidence-based decisions.

Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to personally meet the team and experience our work environment.

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, Adult Social Care you will:

  • undertake safeguarding enquires, whilst maintaining peoples choice and control, empowering adults within a risk enablement and strengths-based approach.
  • have a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience of working within the adult safeguarding arena, including: S42 enquires, Making Safeguarding Personal and the Care Act (2014).
  • complete safeguarding work within the timeframe and guidance provide by Bracknell Forest Council.
  • coordinate and work effectively with the ward/MDT and family by providing professional advice in a timely manner to support hospital discharge.
  • conduct risk assessments and manage safeguarding alerts.
