- To be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe management of patients referred to you.
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work.
- To have clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients, and prioritise that work efficiently.
- To manage clinical risk within own clinical caseload.
- To formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme.
- To have knowledge of a range of treatment skills.
- To ensure effective discharge planning within the team.
- To use theoretical and practical knowledge to advice, guide and teach assistants and students as required.
- To provide recommendations and advice to the MDT.
- The post requires a flexible approach to working and requires the post holder to undertake weekend and evening commitments as required.

Education & Qualifications
Essential: - Degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy; - HCPC Registered
Knowledge and skills
Essential: - Knowledge of current evidence based best practice in Physiotherapy; - IT skills, including EPR, Microsoft programmes & email
Desirable: - MCSP; - Knowledge of NHS structure; - Training & Presentation Skills
Experience
Essential: - NHS experience (either employment or placements); - Good range of placements across core specialties
