An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Physiotherapy Rotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT).Posts available:1 permanent, full-time...

You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles.

Rotations available on our North Rotation include

  • Musculoskeletal Outpatients
  • Community Therapy Team
  • Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
  • Stroke Rehabilitation (Inpatient)
  • Paediatrics

Rotations available on our West Rotation include

  • Musculoskeletal Outpatients
  • Community Therapy Team
  • Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
  • Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team
  • Paediatrics

Please note that you will need to be able to drive with a full UK licence for home visits. Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week.Hours will primarily fall within 08:00 and 17:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements in some rotations. Qualifications & registration

Essential

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or Equivalent
  • Physiotherapy HCPC Registration (allow if Pending)

Desirable

  • Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

Experience

Essential

  • Completed a Broad Range of student placements
  • Evidence of practical Continued Professional Development
  • Experience of NHS placements/experience or equivalent broad experience

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Good evidence of understanding of EBP
  • Broad understanding of NHS/Community healthcare system
  • Able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate a good level of clinical knowledge and reasoning
  • Able to demonstrate good time management and prioritisation skills
  • Good standard of English
  • Own transport and current/valid driving licence

Desirable

  • Basic understanding of Audit/service improvement

Other

Essential

  • Willing to work flexibly to meet service requirements
