As a Relief Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to get to know residents as individuals, provide companionship and practical support, and help create positive moments every day. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training and ongoing support are provided. Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Care Assistant to join our Care team.

As a Care Assistant, youll support residents with daily living, from personal care to mealtimes and activities, always taking a person-centred approach. Youll get to know each resident as an individualwhat matters to them, what makes them smileand tailor your support to help them live well.

No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.

This post is for Relief/ Bank staff working on a casual as and when required basis to cover absence.

What youll be doing Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines Providing companionship and emotional support Encouraging independence, choice, and dignity Assisting with meals, activities, and wellbeing Working as part of a supportive team to deliver outstanding care Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Working pattern

Youll work on a two-week rolling rota

Week 1: 4 days Week 2: 2 days 12-hour shifts (8am8pm), including some weekends
