- Under the direction of the Nurse-in-Charge you will co-ordinate, and deliver effective quality nursing care by assessing the needs, planning, implementing & evaluating the care for a group of patients.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Following a period of Preceptorship take responsibility for the supervision of Health Care Assistants and other learners.
- To work within the NMC code of practice and professional guidelines

- Proven NMC Registered Nurse.
Desirable
- Basic computer skills
Knowledge & Experience

- Proven Registered Nurse Training completed

- Completed Preceptorship
- Demonstrable experience of an acute hospital setting
Aptitude & Abilities
Essential
- Demonstrable communication skills, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels
- Proven ability to prioritise workload
- Attention to detail
Desirable
- Proven ability/ demonstrable experience of directing and instructing others
- Teaching and mentoring skills
