As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. Your focus asa Registered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents.
- Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.
- Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
- Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

- Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
- Demonstrate a minimum 2 years experience and up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
- Display goodinterpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
- Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Qualifications
Essential
- To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a First Level qualification and have current NMC Registration. A minimum of two years' experience along with up-to-date knowledge of care supported by relevant post-basic studies is required. Successful candidates will possess good interpersonal skills and be capable of instructing and demonstrating care activities. They should also have a thorough understanding of care planning and its practical application.
