Registered Manager – Children’s Home
Location: Chipping, Preston Salary: Up to £63,000 per year
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, plus scheduled on-call duties An established children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced

Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of the homeCreate a safe, structured, nurturing environmentLead, motivate, and develop the residential care teamEnsure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standardsOversee care quality, staff performance, and service developmentBuild positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and professionalsDrive the home towards strong inspection outcomes and continuous improvement Requirements Essential:
Minimum 3 years in a senior role within children’s EBD carePrevious leadership/management experience in a children’s homeStrong safeguarding & Ofsted regulation knowledgeLevel 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Willingness to complete/hold Level 5 Leadership & ManagementFull UK driving licence Desirable:
5+ years’ experience in EBD settingsExperience supporting children with emotional & behavioural needsTrack record of achieving/maintaining Good or Outstanding outcomes Safeguarding & Safer Recruitment All applicants must undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS and satisfactory references. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
