What you'll be doing

Working as part of our friendly Recruitment Team, you will:

  • Provide administrative support across the recruitment service.
  • Respond to enquiries via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams.
  • Support candidates, managers and colleagues throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate records using recruitment systems and databases.
  • Assist with filing, document management and digital record keeping.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Support team inbox management and help ensure enquiries are dealt with efficiently.
  • Develop your understanding of NHS recruitment and workforce processes.
  • Contribute ideas to improve administrative processes and digital ways of working.

What we're looking for

We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and experiences. You will need:

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (or Functional Skills Level 2).
  • Basic keyboard and IT skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to learning and completing the apprenticeship programme.
