The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality multi- professional learning environments within the Radiography workforce of Royal London, Mile End and St Bartholomew's hospitals of Barts Health NHS Trust. The post holder will be required to work locally within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted. The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the General Imaging, MRI and CT Radiography post-graduate student experience, which may require cross boundary working, and contribute to the delivery of the Radiography workforce strategy.

Qualifications

Essential

  • To hold DCR(R) or BSc Hons degree in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Current and up to date state HCPC registration

Desirable

  • Post graduate qualification

Experience

Essential

  • Extensive experience in core radiographer services, CT and MRI
  • Broad range of post graduate clinical demonstrable experience in diagnostic imaging for a minimum of three years
  • Demonstrable experience of teaching, supervising and assessing at least one radiographic staff group (such as student, assistant practitioners, practitioners, radiographers, advanced practitioners)
  • Experience of change management
  • Demonstrable experience of staff management/supervision

Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of NHS structure and organisation

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge and understanding of NHS structure and organisation
  • Knowledge of different methods/styles for teaching and learning
