We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and friendly Radiology team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This role contributes to the s...
Greeting patients on arrival, confirming identification details and appropriate imaging requests.
Coordinating patient transfer to and from Radiology.
Liaising with other Departments, wards and staff.
Using the radiology information system to accurately document details of patients examinations.
Keeping the work areas stocked and tidy.
To answer the telephone and deal with enquiries promptly and courteously and either take appropriate action or refer to appropriate Radiology staff.
Assisting with patient transfers onto the imaging tables.
Assisting with patients hygiene / comfort needs as necessary.
Maintaining dignity and privacy of patients at all times.

Qualifications
Essential
- Education to 'o' level / GCSE standard to include English Language
- NVQ level 2 in Healthcare or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting
Experience
Essential
- Experience working in a Team
- Experience working face to face with the general public in a busy environment
- Experience of working with patients in a caring environment
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
Essential
- Time management and good organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Good attention to detail
- IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Fit and healthy to be able to perform moving and handling duties
- Over 18 (to comply with Ionising Radiation guidelines)
Desirable
- Previous NHS experience

- Ability to travel to other sites.
