As CWPS Quality and Governance Administrator the post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Network Quality and Improvement Manager and Quality Team, to maintain and develop an effective quality management system across CWPS. Which incorporates clinical governance and risk management. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for the administration of both Q-Pulse (the Pathology networks quality management system) and Datix systems across the individual Trusts.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ3 in Business Administration, Customer Care or an equivalent and relevant Administration Qualification.
  • Key Skills Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent experience.
  • RSA typing Level 1 / 2 or equivalent qualification.

Desirable

  • Customer facing training

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in administrating meetings
  • Experience of working in a busy team.
  • Experience in working to tight targets
  • Experience of general office working procedures

Desirable

  • NHS experience.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent understanding of general office working practices and procedures.

Desirable

  • Awareness of current issues within the NHS.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Pathology.

Skills

Essential

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Able to present information to others.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communication.
