An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bodmin Community Hospital for a Progress Co-Ordinator to join the Clinical Assessment Treatment Unit (CATU) Team...
- To assist with the efficient day to day running of discharges, providing administrative and clerical support to the team, providing a 7-day service. This post will be required to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the post depending on service provision.
- To monitor patients, progress and report back progress / inform the team or referrer of any problems regarding timing of interventions, including equipment ordering /delivery and organisations of on- going care.
- To act as a link, liaising with other agencies and departments, to provide efficient and effective communication to expedite progress towards the chosen home environment.

Education / Qualifications and Relevant Experience
Essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Excellent administrative experience
- To have worked independently without direct supervision.
Desirable
- ECDL
- Relevant experience within the Health Service
Skills and Aptitude
Essential
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills
- Good problem solving skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of Integra and other health related systems, eg PAS
Knowledge and Abilities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
