The role of a Prescribing Pharmacist at Operose Health involves prescribing, online and telephone clinical triage, managing minor illnesses and providing long-term care advice. The position requires the ability to deliver safe clinical decisions and expert care while collaborating closely with a multi-professional team. Candidates must be able to drive innovation, modernisation, and maintain high levels of staff and patient satisfaction. Ideal applicants will have an undergraduate degree in pharmacy, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and hold an independent prescribing qualification. Prior general practice experience is desirable. Support will be provided to achieve further qualifications, including an independent prescribing qualification, with additional benefits such as CPD study leave and access to bespoke learning systems. A passion for improving the patient experience and a patient-centric approach are crucial.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

  • Prescribing, online and telephone clinical triage, management of minor illness and LTC advice.
  • Delivering safe, clinical decisions and expert care as well as working collaboratively with all team members of a multi professional team and driving innovation, modernisation and high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Independent prescribing qualification.
  • Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in the prioritisation and decision-making aspects of the role.

Qualifications
