Job description

Rough Hay Surgery are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated individual to join our team. We have just under 4,000 patients and...

The practice nurse will need to undertake cervical screening, immunisations, travel health, management of long term health conditions, phlebotomy, contraception advice and ECG's, IPC lead duties (this list is not exhaustive). Further details can be seen within the attached job description.

The practice nurse will need to undertake the following tasks:

ECG, Long term condition reviews, Cytology, Phlebotomy, Wound care inc removal of sutures/staples, travel health, Hypertension reviews, Spirometry, Peak flow, Ear syringing, Urinalysis, NHS Healthchecks, New patients health checks, Immunisations and contraception management, etc (This list is not exhaustive)

Rough Hay Surgery is a friendly yet professional practice and currently have just under 4,000 patients. We are based near to the centre of Darlaston and CQC rated GOOD and high QOF achievers. We are a training practice and regularly have trainee nurses and GP's on placement with us.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 1. Registered nurse
  • 2. Good English and maths skills (Grade A-C or equivalent)
