The successful candidate will be an
enthusiastic team player who strives to deliver a high standard of care. You will have experience in general practice
Nursing duties, including cervical cytology, childhood immunisations,
spirometry and managing long-term conditions. It is desirable that you have
good knowledge of chronic disease management including, diabetes, asthma, and
COPD. A comprehensive knowledge of QOF would be an advantage but not essential.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered as General Nurse
- Member of Professional Body
- Evidence of continuous personal development
- Chronic Disease Management Diplomas
- Cervical Cytology Sample Taker
- Immunisation and Vaccination Training

Experience
Essential
- Experienced Practice Nurse within a Primary Care setting
- Experienced in Chronic Disease Management clinics
- Post registration experience of Nursing in a busy environment
- Experience of working with doctors, other nurses and multi-disciplinary teams
- Experienced in minor illness management, travel health and treatment room
Desirable
- Experienced in leading Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) activities.
- Experienced in mentoring, supervising or supporting the development of clinical staff and/or students.
