Practice Nurse

Your role would be to deliver effective healthcare to our

patients, including long term condition management, wound management,

vaccinations, and smears, depending on clinical competence.

You would also complete appropriate clinical coding in line with QOF and

IIF targets.

We are looking to recruit a Nurse for around 15-25 hours over 2-3 days per week, possibly on a Monday, Thursday and a Friday. We are very flexible though and will agree hours with the sucessful canditate.

Assist in and perform routine tasks related to

patient care as directed by GPs

Clinics with routine appointments

Family Planning

Wound care/ulcer care/Doppler

Hypertension Management

Ear syringing

Routine immunisations/Childhood immunisations

as appropriate

Participation in administrative systems in the

Practice

At all times there will be a need to maintain

accurate records

Attend and participate in any Practice meetings

when required.

Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post

Norfolk Park Health Centre is a small friendly GP surgery close to the City Centre with a practice population of 5000 patients.

We have a purpose built modern building with staff parking, that hosts 4 GP's, an ANP, a small Nursing Team and a dedicated Admin and Reception Team.

Qualifications

Essential: - Licence/Certification; - NMC registration (required)

Desirable: - General Practice experience
