Practice Nurse

The Practice Nurse provides primary care nursing support, patient interventions and treatment within the Practice. As part of the general practice team, you will responsible for providing excellent patient-centred care

Provide patient-centred care with compassion

and empathy

Conduct health assessments and provide

advice on health promotion and disease prevention

Maintain accurate patient records and

ensure confidentiality is upheld

Administer vaccinations and medications as

prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with other healthcare

professionals to ensure holistic patient care

Effective interaction with patients,

colleagues, and other healthcare professionals

Strong organisational abilities to manage

multiple tasks efficiently

Ability to work autonomously as well as part

of a multidisciplinary team

Balmore Park Surgery is a supportive, highly regarded training practice, situated north of the River Thames in Caversham, Reading. The Practice consists of 14 GPs, 7 Nurses, 4 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, a Mental Health

Practitioner, 2 HCAs and 1 Phlebotomists. We also have 4 Pharmacists, a Pharmacy technician and a Prescriptions Clerk.
