Job overview Main Purpose of Post

To provide and manage a best in class in house Porter service with full compliance and governance.To ensure the banding responsibilities are delegated and carried out on time, as required.To manage and provide spend dashboards for all associated departmental budgets.To ensure compliance with all audit requirements and that these are reflected in the lifecycle report and thus represented as depreciating assets on the Risk Register.To be the Manager responsible for the provision of a Porter service providing support to Patient services and the hospital site, ensuring the service is effective and meets the needs and expectations of the users.To be the Porter lead for all major incidents, emergencies and providing a contingency response, ensuring all operational procedures and staff training is in place.To ensure staffing rosters are developed and managed to enable optimum service provision at all times.To manage the delivery of all determined Porter Projects and provide regular updates to the Facilities Manager Main duties of the job EF15QP The post holder will be required to have close liaison with heads of departments, matrons, ward managers, infection control teams, quality monitoring teams, human resources managers, estates and facilities managers, patients, visitors and external supply contractors as part of the overall day to day service provision Working for our organisation Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country.
