Physiotherapy Assistant

Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol is the Level 1 service for patients with complex neurological rehabilitation needs for the South West of England. We have 52 rehabilitation beds and offer both Level 1 (intensive) and Level 2 (slower stream) specialist inpatient rehabilitation for patients with brain injury and other neurological conditions. The service is part of the Active Care Group.

Full Time 1 year fixed term contract 35 hours per week

We are offering a great opportunity to join our highly skilled physiotherapy team as a Physiotherapy Assistant, helping patients to maximise their physical recovery after life changing events such as traumatic or acquired brain injury. The post is a 1 year fixed term contract and may appeal to those considering a career as a physiotherapist, wanting to gain skills, experience and/or a better understanding of the profession.

Training will be provided and you will be supported to develop within the role through regular supervision. You will also be part of a wider multidisciplinary team of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Doctors, Nurses, Rehabilitation Technicians and Rehabilitation Assistants.
