An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and creative Band 5 Physiotherapist to join North Kerrier community therapy teams, and also New...
- Assessing new patients on the inpatient unit and in the patient's homes including residential and nursing homes. There is also opportunity to bring those patients into a hospital outpatient setting to be seen if appropriate.
- Setting treatment goals and following out treatment plans.
- In reach into community hospital to facilitate early discharge into the community and to continue rehabilitation in the community setting.
- Working with reablement services such as STEPS
- Admission avoidance
- Liaising with the wider multidisciplinary team to enable the patient to reach their goals

Education / Qualifications and Relevant Experience
Essential
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- IELTS unless qualification taken in English
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and an understanding of roles
Desirable: - Experience of working in a health care setting; - Experience of taking part in research/audit; - Good teaching/presentation skills; - Membership of CSP
Knowledge and abilities
Essential: - Knowledge of client centred approach; - Good communication skills; - Time management skills; - Flexible and adaptable approach
