Senior Care Assistant

As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will join a team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of residents. Your role will involve supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care. You will ensure a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Key responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key contact point for residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals involved in residents' wellbeing. Ideal candidates must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, at least 2 years experience in a similar care environment, effective communication skills, a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and must be responsive and flexible in covering a range of responsibilities.
