Taking Blood
Updating patient records
Liaising with clinical and admin staff
Providing a courteous and professional service
- Carry out venepuncture safely
- Safe handling of samples
- Maintain adequate infection control
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ensure safeguarding policies adhered to
- Update records accurately and quickly
- Provide a courteous and professional service
- Other duties may apply dependent on experience or may be added to the role in the future.

Experience
Desirable: - Phlebotomy Experience.; - GP Practice Experience.; - Emis Web Experience.
Qualifications
Essential: - A recognised phlebotomy qualification and evidence of assurance of this.; - Commitment to any mandatory training highlighted by our practice.
Desirable
- Previous phlebotomy experience.
- Emis Web experience.
- Basic Life Support training within the last 3 years.
- Infection control training within the last 3 years.
