We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and highly organised individual to join our Pharmacy Medicines Governance, Safety & Quality Team at BHFT...

Excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, and outstanding communication skills are essential for this role. These qualities are key to supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe care to our patients.

The successful candidate will have GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.

Previous experience of working within NHS hospital services and/or a knowledge of pharmacy services would be desirable, but is not essential.

As a successful candidate, you will provide essential administrative support to the team, with particular responsibility for coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes and maintaining action logs. You will also support data analysis and management, contribute to the production of reports and dashboards, and manage and respond to enquiries received by the team.

  • GCSE or equivalent

Experience

  • Use of Microsoft Office or equivalent

Desirable

  • Previous administrative experience in healthcare or governance
  • Experience providing personal assistance or diary management support
  • Experience of meeting management including compiling agendas and producing minutes

Knowledge

Essential

  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Desirable

  • Good understanding of NHS governance and patient safety principles
