Pharmacy Assistant

Assist in administrative tasks

Accurately dispense medicines for outpatients

Help prepare take home medicines for inpatients

Aid in the procurement of medicines for the department

Support with stock take and expiry date checking

Provide all hospital departments with medicines at their request

Assist the pharmacist with ward work and other duties as appropriate

£25,545 per annum

37.5 hours per week Required to work Saturdays on a rotational basis

An opportunity has arisen for a full time pharmacy assistant to work alongside the pharmacist in delivery of a high quality service to our stakeholders.

Our specialities include Women's and Men's health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment,Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
