Maintenance Operative

The Maintenance Operative role at Avery Healthcare involves ensuring that the building and grounds are well maintained through various routine maintenance tasks. The individual will undertake basic repairs and checks, apply fixes to equipment and systems, and make sure all facilities are fully functional. Responsibilities include carrying out general maintenance tasks such as electrical, plumbing, joinery, and building tasks both inside and outside the home. Additionally, the role involves supporting new residents to arrange their rooms, ensuring routine re-decoration, advising on supply and quality of items, and providing out of hours emergency service. The candidate must have at least one year of experience in a similar role or a professional qualification in a trade, hold a full driving licence, and possess knowledge of Health and Safety protocols.
