The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:

Responding to enquiries in a polite manner and ensuring an appropriate response is initiated.

Contacting patients about the patient council

Supporting with scheduling talks/topics for patient council sessions

Supporting with the logistics of organising the patient council.

Capturing feedback from the meetings

Printing and posting letters associated with this

Photocopying

Filing

Confidential shredding

Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager

Ad-hoc administration duties required to support admin function

Collation of data and use of Microsoft packages

The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:

Responding to enquiries in a polite manner and ensuring an appropriate response is initiated.

Contacting patients to inform them of upcoming patient council

Organising talks/topics for patient council sessions

Supporting with the logistics of organising the patient council.

Writing minutes for the meeting.

Printing and posting letters associated with this

Photocopying

Filing

Confidential shredding

Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager

Ad-hoc administration duties required to support admin function

Collation of data and use of Microsoft packages

To be punctual and reliable

Good listening skills with a warm, friendly and professional approach.

To adhere to the dress code for the area in which they volunteer. To aid recognition by staff, patients, service users and visitors you must always wear your ID badge.

Be able to work as a member of a team.

To behave professionally and always treat others with dignity and respect and adhere to the principles of the Trusts Equality and Diversity Policy
