An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Receptionist to join the Parkside Private Patients team at Heatherwood Hospital. The post holder wi...

  • First point of contact for private patients, visitors and consultants attending the Parkside Suite.
  • Provides reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Manages patient appointments, enquiries, and clinic administration.
  • Maintains accurate patient, insurance and payment records.Supports the private patient billing process through effective documentation management.
  • Handles confidential information in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Works independently and as part of the wider Parkside team to deliver an excellent patient experience.
  • Provide an efficient Reception service to the Parkside Suite, Heatherwood.
  • Ensure all visitors to Parkside receive outstanding customer experience.

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent IT skills with Microsoft knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively with all levels of customer, both internal and external.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Private Healthcare.
  • Knowledge of hospital IT programs; EPIC, Compucare.

Experience

Essential

  • Previously delivered exceptional customer service within a 5-star setting.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience delivering high standards of customer service and administration in a busy environment.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a healthcare, private healthcare, reception or front-of-house setting.
  • Experience of working within a Reception/Front of House team.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Desirable

  • Customer service delivery/hospitality course.
