The post holder will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch, safe, and compassionate healthcare to patients. By supporting and welcoming patients into services that cater to their unique needs, the Outpatient Administrator will also provide administrative support to a team, acting as a bridge between patients, doctors, practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, and managing appointments. The staff member will consistently deliver high-quality customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

Essential: - Educated to GCSE Level(or Equivalent)

Desirable: - Conflict Resolution training

Knowledge

Essential: - oo Familiar with Microsoft Office; - Understanding of Pathways and RTT requirements; - IT literate with strong keyboard skills

Desirable: - Medical terminology

Experience

Essential: - Administration / Reception experience; - Customer Service experience; - Telephone and face-to-face contact with clients and other people at all levels.

Desirable: - Experience of working within the NHS or other Health industries; - Familiarity with Cerner/SSC
