We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

Desirable: - Previous ophthalmic injecting experience
Qualifications
Essential: - Registered Nurse Adult with valid NMC registration or suitable alternative Ophthalmic qualification.
Desirable
- Nursing study degree or Ophthalmic equivalent
- Evidence of post registered Ophthalmic education
- Working towards Non medical prescribers qualification or willing to undertake
- Consent Course
Further Training
Essential: - Commitment to professional development and education; - IT skills including use of data bases
Desirable: - Evidence of working with challenging/non-compliant patients
Experience
Essential
- Evidence of post registered experience of Ophthalmology
- Experience of moving and handling patients
- Experience of patient centre care
- Ability to prioritise
Desirable
- Articulate with track record of problem solving
- Experience of working with LD, patients who lack capacity and other challenging situations
- Experience of using slit lamp, volk lens
- Experience of triage phone calls and assessment of patients with potential emergency ophthalmic conditions
Contractual
