- Provide operational leadership and management for designated services.
- Lead service delivery to ensure safe, effective and responsive care.
- Monitor and improve performance against key quality, workforce and operational indicators.
- Work collaboratively with clinical leaders to drive service improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Lead and support workforce planning, recruitment, retention and staff development.
- Ensure effective management of allocated budgets and resources.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead on governance, quality improvement, risk management and patient safety initiatives.
- Contribute to business planning, service redesign and implementation of Trust objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, inclusion and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications
Essential
- Education to degree level or evidence of sound intellectual ability and ongoing personal development at senior management level
Desirable
- Experience of managing health and social care integrated services
Skills
Essential
- A proven record of success in managing significant operational / strategic change whilst also developing and maintaining the provision of a high quality service, within a clinical setting, with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of management tools, organisational systems and processes relevant to managing in an NHS organisation
