Substantial nursing experience in Breast Care or/and oncology nursing at band 6/7 is preferable. You will need to be flexible, reliable and patient focused. You will work closely with the consultant team in delivering patient centred care.
There is a requirement to work between both Derby and Burton sites, however theses posts are predominately RDH (Royal Derby Hospital) based.

Education, Training and Qualifications CPD Requirements:
Essential
- NMC registration
Desirable
- Evidence of degree / working towards higher degree or equivalent experience
Experience
Essential
- Evidence of substantial post qualification experience
- Equivalent level of experience equivalent to a master within the speciality
- Significant demonstrable and recent experience of working within Oncology
- IT Literate
- Experience in teaching or supporting learners
Desirable
- Experience of audit
Communication Skills
Essential
- Communicates highly complex condition related, sensitive information to patients/ relatives and across the wider healthcare community
- Negotiation, persuasion, motivation, reassurance, facilitation and influencing skills
- Understands and overcomes barriers to communication and acceptance
