Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join an NHS Older People and Integrated Care Community Service on a locum basis. Start Date: 24th August 2026 End Date: 24th November 2026 Location: Surrey (Hampshire border) Working Pattern: Full Time The Role You will work within a community-based Older People and Integrated Care service, providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, rehabilitation, and care planning for patients with complex health and social care needs. The successful candidate will support individuals to maximise their independence, improve functional outcomes, and facilitate safe discharge and community living. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across health and social care services to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. The role will also involve contributing to service development initiatives, supporting quality improvement projects, and providing leadership within the team where required. Requirements

HCPC-registered Occupational TherapistPrevious NHS experience working at Band 6 or Band 7 levelExperience within Older People, Community, Integrated Care, or Rehabilitation ServicesStrong leadership and team management skillsExperience contributing to quality improvement initiativesCompetency in complex moving and handling assessmentsStrong assessment, rehabilitation, and care planning experienceExperience working effectively within a multidisciplinary teamAbility to manage complex caseloads independentlyExcellent communication, organisational, and documentation skillsEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment Apply For more information or to apply, please click apply ASAP.
