Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Adviser to join Shropshire Council’s Occupational Health Team on a part-time basis.

Working two days per week, ideally Monday and Thursday, you will support Shropshire Council and our client organisations as part of a professional and established service.

You will manage your own caseload and provide professional, evidence-based occupational health assessments and advice. You will help deliver and develop a high-quality Occupational Health service. You will be an NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) with Occupational Health knowledge and experience and a strong background in Occupational Health practice.

You will be able to work autonomously while contributing effectively to the wider team. An Occupational Health degree or diploma and qualifications or experience in areas such as spirometry, audiometry, DSE eye testing and HAVs would be desirable.

We would love to tell you more about this role and our team. For an informal discussion, please contact Paul Jones, OH Manager on 01743 254410.

Whether you are looking for a new challenge or an opportunity to broaden your experience, we invite you to bring your skills, knowledge and expertise to Shropshire and help us make a positive difference to our communities.
