- Actively contribute to the work of the Nuclear Medicine Physics team through a high standard of technical support
- Contribute to the provision of Medical Physics Assistant rotas across the Nuclear Medicine Department, including Molecular Radiotherapy
- Comply at all times with the Trust's and Department's systems, procedures and tests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in radiation protection; specifically including Local Rules for Radiation Safety, conditions of EPR Permits, IRMER Policies and Employer's Procedures.
- Attain and maintain high professional standards at all timesin their execution of the duties of the post.Work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, with a demonstrablecommitment toparticipatingfully in the delivery of a professional, high-quality clinical service.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential
- Level 3 qualification eg 3 A levels/ NVQ in technical or scientific subject

- Evidence of further study/ ongoing education
Experience

- Understanding of hazards posed by, and precautions needed with: Ionising radiation, including radioactive isotopes Infection Control

- Experience with using a range of radiation detectors and ability to interpret measurements
