Job description

Join David Neal Dental in Hastings and take over an established patient list, with up to 5,000 UDAs and the opportunity to develop your private work. ...

You will provide NHS general dental care to an established patient list, alongside private treatment where appropriate. Your duties will include examining patients, diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans and providing preventive and restorative care.

You will help patients make informed decisions by explaining their treatment options clearly, including the benefits, risks and costs. You will maintain accurate clinical records, follow appropriate clinical and infection prevention procedures, and work closely with the wider practice team to deliver a positive patient experience.

We are seeking an Associate Dentist to provide high-quality NHS and private dental care to an established patient list. The role offers up to 5,000 UDAs, opportunities to develop private work and flexible working days Monday to Friday.

You will undertake dental examinations, diagnose conditions and develop personalised treatment plans, providing preventive, restorative and general dental care within your clinical competence. You will explain treatment options, risks and costs clearly, obtain valid consent and help patients maintain their oral health.

You will manage an agreed UDA allocation while maintaining high standards of care, keeping accurate clinical records and completing NHS claims promptly. You will identify when specialist input is required and arrange appropriate referrals.

Working closely with nurses, reception colleagues and management, you will contribute to a welcoming patient experience. You will follow safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and clinical governance requirements, while maintaining GDC registration, appropriate indemnity and continuing professional development.

We offer a fully digital practice, an experienced team, Clinical Director support and access to our in-house laboratory. Full-time and part-time applications are welcome. Visa sponsorship is available, subject to eligibility.

We value continuity of care, good communication and a welcoming environment for patients and colleagues. Our clinicians benefit from the support of our Clinical Director and operations team, with opportunities to share knowledge and develop their clinical interests.
