Applicants will have a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or the UK equivalent and HCPC registration, whilst having proven MRI skills and NHS experience desirable.

Applicants should have good communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work as part of our existing team. IV cannulation training is provided alongside a comprehensive induction package to ensure you are supported to cover all specialised scanning and post graduate education is encouraged.

The contract on offer is based with MR, rotational across all 3 sites within STH, 37.5 hours per week, over 3 days, including weekends.

Participation on the MR on call rota out of hours is also expected after an induction period, which requires individual MR radiographers to cover 1 to 2 on call shifts in every 5 week rota. If you have a flexible approach to working patterns, wish to work in a specialised MR department, and are wanting to gain a wealth of MR experience in all areas, then this post is for you.

Experience

Essential

  • CPD portfolio or relevant evidence

Desirable

  • Participate in professional lectures, study days and workshops.
  • Relevant post qualification experience

Qualifications

Essential

  • DCR or BSc in Radiography
  • HCPC registration

Desirable

  • Evidence of relevant post graduate training or education.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Take additional responsibility for team development.
  • Good organisational skills. Ability to take daily responsibility for, and direct, the organisation and workflow within designated team
