The Minibus Driver position at Avery Healthcare located in Marlborough offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and award-winning team at Merlin Court Care Home. This permanent role, with a competitive salary of £12.72 per hour, involves providing safe and courteous transportation services for team members, as well as assisting them with any special needs during transit. The role requires a focus on driving safely and an ability to delegate passenger interaction tasks to onboard support staff to ensure safety. Key responsibilities include providing transportation services for team members, assisting with carrying packages or opening doors, and delivering miscellaneous pickup and delivery services. The position demands a high level of commitment to respect, compassion, and exceptional care, making a positive impact on residents lives every day. As part of the role, the successful candidate would need a PCV license with Cat D1, a clean driving record, and knowledge of safety precautions, with periodic CPC training attendance as required. If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Minibus Driver will be to provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for team members to and from various activities while delivering quality service.Other responsibilities will include: - Providing transportation services for the team members
- Assisting team members with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors
- Always focusing on driving, directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.
- Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.
ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in everything you do.Our ideal candidate must: - Have a PCV license with Cat D1 and a clean driving record.
- Able to drive a minibus
- Attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training as required.

- Be able to react calmly in emergencies and be considerate.
