Mental Health Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant -Reading Location: ReadingSalary: £90 - £110 per dayHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pmStart Date: ASAP Are you a Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology graduate looking to gain experience in mental health and special education? A specialist SEMH school in Readng is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You'll work alongside therapists, counsellors, and psychologists, gaining invaluable experience for careers in Educational Psychology, Therapy, or SEN Teaching. The Role: Support children 1:1 and in small groupsAssist with learning and behaviour plansWork with professionals to provide holistic support Ideal Candidate: Degree in Psychology, Counselling, or similar (or relevant experience)Passionate about mental health and SENResilient, proactive, and adaptable Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
