  • As a Registered Occupational Therapist you will be part of a team providing a specialist older adult mental health service. The service will deliver a pathway of care in accordance with the latest evidence-base, which puts the service user's needs at the centre of the service.
  • Each team member will be responsible for supporting a culture of "wrapping the service around the person" and will need to work flexibly in order to ensure that pathways work together as a whole service, to meet the person's needs.

There is an expectation that all work is underpinned by theoretical and technical knowledge, in addition to practical experience gained from a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy and other relevant training. Clinical service delivery will incorporate a range of graded therapeutic interventions using occupational performance to address skill deficits enabling the client in areas of self-maintenance, productivity and leisure.
