Mental Health Assistant - Kidlington Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing? A specialist school in Kidlington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Therapists, or Teachers who want to build valuable, hands-on experience supporting young people with a range of mental health and emotional needs. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students experiencing emotional, social, or mental health challenges.Support students in developing confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and independence.Build positive and trusting relationships with students, helping them feel safe, understood, and supported.Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.Observe and monitor students' wellbeing, behaviour, engagement, and progress throughout the school day. We're looking for a Mental Health Assistant who is:
