Personal Medical Assistant (Part-Time - 95 Hours a Month)£20-£25 per hour, depending on experienceLondon SW3 A well-established private medical practice is looking for an experienced Personal Medical Assistant to support a single physician with a small, high-profile patient list. This part-time role is built around a fixed in-office schedule, offering variety, autonomy and genuine involvement in patient care. Key Details
Part-time, approx. 90-95 hours per monthCore in-office days, 8:00am (fixed start) to approx. 5:30pm, with a scheduled breakAdditional flexible/remote hours on non-office daysCentral London location, easily commutableSalary: hourly or flat monthly rate, to be discussed depending on experienceStart date: flexible, ideally within the next couple of months What You'll Be Doing
Managing a busy daily and weekly patient diary, including bookings, reschedules and last-minute changesRunning a daily briefing to review recent patients and plan aheadPreparing and sending personalised patient protocols, prescriptions and blood test requestsDigitising handwritten patient notes and filesLiaising with an overseas clinic location for one week each monthLight invoicing and administrative supportHandling patient calls professionally and warmlyGeneral inbox and diary management What We're Looking For
A medical or clinical administration background - private sector experience preferredConfident, warm telephone manner; comfortable being a patient's first point of contactStrong IT skills, comfortable managing digital file systems and scanningHighly organised, detail-focused and able to work independentlyDiscreet and professional - this role involves sensitive patient informationReliable and fully present during working hours in a focused, low-distraction environmentAble to commit to a fixed early start and a consistent part-time schedule This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.BSR Health are a Specialist Healthcare Agency.
