This is a part time role - minimum 14.5 hours per week with an expectation to pick up additional hours available for holiday/sickness cover. Minimum hours - Thursday 1.30pm to 6.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm.
Participation on a Saturday morning rota at our Wanborough Surgery - approximately 1 in 5.
5.6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday leave.
- Provide high quality front desk reception service to the Practice patient population
- Share in the general administrative duties associated with operating the
Practice
- Answering the telephone to deal with enquiries, make appointments, transfer
calls to appropriate team members etc
- Signposting patient enquiries to the most relevant clinician/service
provider
- Opening and closing the surgery premises
- Taking part in team meetings and training
- Offer support and work together with the whole Practice Team
Ramsbury & Wanborough Surgery is a rural, dispensing GP Surgery based on the Wiltshire/Berkshire border. We are a training practice with an excellent reputation, providing all
aspects of primary care to just over 10,000 patients, with an Outstanding CQC
rating. The practice uses SystmOne clinical system. We are a friendly team
which includes ANPs, Nurses, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacist and a Health &
Wellbeing team.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE (or equivalent) English & Maths
Experience
Essential
- Must have excellent interpersonal, telephone and organisational skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a good level of computer literacy.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of team and contribute to the wider practice team.
Desirable
- Experience of working within in a GP Surgery/NHS
- Experience of using Systmone clinical system
