- React promptly to day-to-day breakdowns of plumbing and mechanical equipment/assets ensuring response and completion times meet the Trust KPI's
- Carry out wide range of mechanical & plumbing repairs
- Undertake routine maintenance (PPM) of equipment/assets ensuring all work is logged using the PDA on the Agility system to meet the Trust's KPI's.
- Carry out minor installation work.
- To physically carry out manual work using safe working practice
- Interpret and work from instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to key trade, with minimal supervision
- To become certified as a competent person in a discipline within your skill set.
- Pass on knowledge to apprentices and work experience students
- Take part in out of hours on call rota.

Qualifications and Training
Essential
- You will be a qualified craftsman
- Must possess evidence of completing an approved Trade Apprenticeship
- Understanding and evidence of current Health and Safety legislation training relating to areas of work
- A current driving licence & willing to drive a Trust owned vehicle
Knowledge and Experience
Essential: - Experience of Building Maintenance & Installation works; - Experienced in Building fault finding; - Good all round knowledge of building
Desirable: - Experience of working in Healthcare building maintenance environment or equivalent service environment
