As Matron - Surgical Services, you'll provide professional, operational and clinical leadership across our surgical services. You'll hold site-level clinical oversight, ensuring departments are safe, well-led, appropriately staffed and responsive to patient and service needs.
You'll play a central role in maintaining internal CQC readiness, supporting JAG requirements, leading governance activity, and ensuring that learning from incidents, audits, complaints and patient feedback is embedded into practice.
This role would suit an experienced senior nurse, ODP or registered healthcare professional who has led across surgical, procedural or acute clinical services and is ready to take ownership of a broad, multi-department clinical leadership role.
We're looking for an experienced and confident Matron - Surgical Services to provide senior clinical leadership across our surgical and procedural services at our West London Clinic.
This is a key leadership role, acting as the senior clinical decision-maker on site and working closely with the National Lead Surgical Services to ensure safe, effective and patient-centred care across Theatre, Endoscopy, Day Surgery Ward and Outpatients.
You'll lead through others, managing our Heads of Department and supporting them to deliver high standards of clinical practice, governance, workforce deployment and patient experience. You'll be visible, credible and calm under pressure, with the ability to bring teams together around shared standards and continuous improvement.
At Cora we're passionate about investing in our colleagues, fostering professional growth, and ensuring everyone feels appreciated. We believe that happy and engaged colleagues provide exceptional patient care and will be motivated to perform at their best.
