Emergency Clinical Practitioner Band 7 - Trowbridge

As an Emergency Clinical Practitioner within HCRG Care Group, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Nurses, Paramedics, and support staff. You will deliver a service dealing with minor injuries and illnesses to the community, collaborating with partner organizations like the Royal United Hospital Bath. Based in the Trowbridge minor injury unit, you may occasionally work across BSW. Usual hours are 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. The Emergency Clinical Practitioner has autonomous responsibility for patient assessment, documentation, prescription, and discharge in the Minor Injuries Unit. You'll manage the unit in the absence of a clinical lead, complete with APiCA and Non-medical prescribing, showcasing skills in advanced triage. You will coordinate specialist interventions in urgent health care needs, often engaging both primary and secondary care interfaces. This role requires organizational capability, decision-making skill, and adaptability in a fluid environment.
