Can you provide expertise and leadership across our Maintenance Function at our Birmingham Hospital? Location: Birmingham Full Time | Permanent Salary...
- Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities across the site.
- Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Oversee contractor management, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standards.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire safety systems.
- Support capital projects, refurbishments, and site improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and asset registers.
- Work closely with clinical and operational teams to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist in budget management and identify opportunities for cost-effective improvements.
We are looking for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing facilities within a complex environment.
You will ideally have
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Manager, or similar role.
- Experience overseeing maintenance operations within healthcare, secure environments, social care, hospitality, manufacturing, or comparable settings.
- Strong knowledge of building services and statutory compliance requirements.
- Excellent contractor management and organisational skills.
- A recognised qualification in a relevant trade or building services discipline.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance standards.
