As a Band 5 Estates professional, you will play a key role in maintaining the Trust's buildings, engineering services and critical infrastructure, ensuring a safe, compliant and efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Working within the multi-skilled Estates team, you will undertake and support planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, complex fault diagnosis, repairs and installations across mechanical, electrical and building services. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, using your technical knowledge and judgement to identify faults, determine appropriate solutions and minimise disruption to clinical services.

You will work across a wide range of systems including heating, ventilation, domestic water, drainage, electrical services, building fabric, fire doors, building management systems (BMS), nurse call systems and other critical Estates assets.

You will provide technical advice and support to colleagues, assist with the coordination and prioritisation of maintenance activities, and contribute to statutory compliance including water safety, fire safety and engineering inspections, in accordance with HTMs, British Standards and Trust procedures.

The role includes responding to complex engineering breakdowns, maintaining accurate electronic maintenance records and participating in flexible working and out-of-hours arrangements as required, subject to appropriate training and competency.

Please see attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification for more information regarding this role.

Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust's redeployment process.
