We are currently recruiting 3 x 36-hour Level 3 Care and Support Workers to join Hafan y Waun Residential Care Home in Aberystwyth on a permanent basis. About the role No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. As a general guide, your day-to-day duties may include:

ensuring that service delivery remains fully compliant with the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and associated regulationsbe the responsible officer in the absence of the Manager/Deputy Manageradministering prescribed medication including controlled drugs to service user's and assist in the management of an effective system for the safe control and administration of medication in accordance with regional and internal policy and procedureproviding total care to clients according to daily routine as outlined in care plansproviding emotional support and reassurance to clients, particularly when they need to adjust to change/and or family crisisescorting clients out of the establishment, e.g. leisure tripscompleting daily recordsundertaking cleaning, laundry and dining room service Our ideal candidate Previous experience of working in a care home is essential along with kindness, patience, respect and resilience.
